A must-try healthy pie!

Almond???
Almonds are loaded with vitamin E, magnesium and potassium and are a good source of manganese, copper and vitamin B2 (riboflavin). They are also high in fiber and even a small serving has more protein content than an egg! Instead of having almond as a snack, you could also mix them into your salad or even your pies!

To those who missed my recipe on yesterday's Berita Harian newspaper, here is the promised entry!
The ingredients are simple and delicious! All you need are:

3 slices of wholegrain/wholemeal bread.
A handful of almonds.
Any kind of your favourite fruits.
White egg from an egg.
Honey & caster sugar.

Simple, right???

Follow the simple steps below to prepare the pie!

Pan fried your almond without oil, and while the almond is still hot, ground it!

Roll your bread and cut into two.

Beat up a white egg, add two table spoons of sugar, bit by bit... and beat until stiff.

Spread the beaten white egg on your bread and arrange cut fruits on it Finally, scatter the broken almonds and sprinkle some honey before baking.

Bake for 10 minutes. Once done, sprinkle some caster sugar, and your healthy pie is now ready to be served!

What about serving it with some low-fat ice cream?

Bokeh-bokeh

Am now in KL to celebrate the YES (Year End Sale), LOL! BTW, I managed to watch Avatar in 3-D last weekend at Pavilion. Availabe seats were only available for midnight shows - either 1.15 Am or 1.30 Am. So, I chose the earlier show, at 1.15 Am. To kill three hours before the movie, I took some picture around Pavilion. And since Christmas is just around the corner, capturing lights was so much fun!
The movie ended close to 4.00 AM, but it was worth the wait!!!

The biggest Christmas tree in the world!

Every evening, from 7 PM until they completely turned off the strobe lights at midnight, Eiffel Tower is turned into the biggest Christmas tree in the world! The strobe display takes place every half hour for five minutes!

To me, this is a personal favourite momment to enjoy the whole city of Paris. Below are pictures taken from my bed... What a fascinating view!

To all ice cream lovers!

If you happen to be in Paris, do try their 'Glaces de tradition' or traditional ice cream. I'm sure you'll almost cry, biting into your sumptious ice cream, walking down the boulevard... because the taste is absolutely, simply delicious!

Am a huge fan of macaroons and Starbucks! To hear that Starbucks will sell macaroon for a limited time, from December 13 till December 25, is simply awesome!.

Hopefully, the taste would be at least 80% close to those of my favourite: Ladurée or Pierre Hermé! I can't wait!
